The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has established a new crypto task force to develop a regulatory framework for digital assets. This initiative follows President Donald Trump's return to the White House and aims to address the digital assets industry's long-standing demands for clearer regulations. The task force, led by Commissioner Hester Peirce, known as 'Crypto Mom' for her supportive stance on cryptocurrency regulations, will focus on drawing clear regulatory lines, providing realistic paths to registration, crafting sensible disclosure frameworks, and deploying enforcement resources judiciously.
